MEEC has more than 20+ years’ experience building a reputation for excellent
engineering solutions for all clients. Since our inception, the company has
produced designs for over 5,000 projects. These projects include new
construction, additions, and renovations.

MEEC currently employs a diverse staff of 25 team members including 12
engineers and numerous CAD members. We are proud to say we have excellent
retention with our team of professionals and with that we have achieved
consistent personal contact with all of our clients to meet the vision, goals and
objectives for all projects from beginning through completion.

MEEC’s mechanical design capabilities include, plumbing and piping, fire protection, geothermal, boiler and chiller plants, air pollution control, heating, ventilating and air conditioning, controls and energy audits.  Electrical design services include, interior lighting, low and medium voltage power distribution, site lighting, on-site power generation, central control and monitoring systems, fire alarm, life safety, UPS systems and power system analysis.

MEEC’s design experience encompasses all categories of building types in the public, private and governmental sectors.  Members of our firm have successfully completed several types of construction projects, including, but not limited to the following markets:  industrial, municipal, health care, multi-family and single family housing, commercial lofts, restaurants, retail, nursing homes and senior living projects, office buildings, schools, telecommunications centers, logistics warehousing and houses of worship.  In the public sector, projects have been completed for local and county governments, educational institutions, the State of Michigan, and various divisions of the United States Federal Government.

    President

Mr. Koenig is responsible for company administration and management of all electrical engineering design document production, electrical designers, and drafters. Area of design responsibility includes: medium voltage and low voltage distribution, lighting and lighting control systems, grounding and lightning protection systems, fire alarm, telecommunications, studies and calculations. Mr. Koenig has over 20 years of experience in electrical system design for projects in the industrial, commercial, municipal, institutional, healthcare, and military sectors.

    Director  | Mechanical Engineer

Mr. Vernier is the head of MEEC’s mechanical department and is responsible for the engineering design of HVAC and plumbing systems for industrial, educational, commercial, retail, multi-family, and healthcare projects. Responsibilities include development of project specifications, control diagrams, sequence of operations, and project coordination with owner and architectural trades. Mr. Vernier is also responsible for employee training and the mechanical department’s quality control.
