Mechanical Electrical Engineering Consultants PC (MEEC) provides a wide range of engineering services, including complete mechanical, plumbing and electrical engineering consulting services to architects, developers, owners and design/build contractors.

The firm was established in 1990; in 2008 the company officially re-incorporated to MEEC, and since doubled in office space and workforce to better serve our long standing clients and introduce our services to new customers.  We pride ourselves on problem solving, value engineering, responding to critical situations, and realistic scheduling.  Our design approach is based on understanding our client’s goals and engineering systems to match budget constraints, while addressing constructability and code issues and maximizing options for future growth.  We offer full M/E/P engineering services, beginning with preliminary conceptual planning and design development, through final working drawings, construction specifications, commissioning and construction administration.

MEEC’s mechanical design capabilities include, plumbing and piping, fire protection, geothermal, boiler and chiller plants, air pollution control, heating, ventilating and air conditioning, controls and energy audits.  Electrical design services include, interior lighting, low and medium voltage power distribution, site lighting, on-site power generation, central control and monitoring systems, fire alarm, life safety, UPS systems and power system analysis.

MEEC’s design experience encompasses all categories of building types in the public, private and governmental sectors.  Members of our firm have successfully completed several types of construction projects, including, but not limited to the following markets:  industrial, municipal, health care, multi-family and single family housing, commercial lofts, restaurants, retail, nursing homes and senior living projects, office buildings, schools, telecommunications centers, logistics warehousing and houses of worship.  In the public sector, projects have been completed for local and county governments, educational institutions, the State of Michigan, and various divisions of the United States Federal Government.

  • Jordan Koenig, PE

Mr. Koenig is responsible for management of all electrical engineering design document production, electrical designers, and drafters. Area of design responsibility includes:  medium voltage and low voltage distribution, lighting and lighting control systems, grounding and lightning protection systems, fire alarm, telecommunications, studies and calculations. Mr. Koenig has over 21 years of experience in electrical system design for projects in the industrial, commercial, municipal, institutional, healthcare and military sectors.

    Principal | Mechanical Engineer

Mr. Busha is responsible for company administration, engineering and design of HVAC and plumbing systems for industrial, commercial, institutional and healthcare projects, including specifications, project coordination and contract administration.  His specialty is managing challenging schedules and adapting designs for finite budgets.  Mr. Busha has over 30 years of experience as a mechanical engineer.

Mr. Vernier is responsible for engineering and design of HVAC and plumbing systems for industrial, educational, commercial, residential and healthcare projects, including specifications, controls and owner project coordination. Mr. Vernier has in excess of 20 years of experience.
