This project consisted of a new 2-story automobile dealership totally 36,038 gross sq.ft. and is located in Birch Run, MI. The sales and customer services areas of the building are totally air conditioned. The lighting system in the building and all areas of the parking lot are illuminated with state of the art lighting emitting diode (LED) light sources. Controls for HVAC and Lighting are provided in compliance with ASHRAE/IES 90.1-1999 Energy Code. Mechanical Electrical Engineering Consultants was responsible for the complete design of mechanical HVAC and plumbing systems, electrical power and distribution systems and all lighting and controls. The building received a LEED Gold certification.
