The Today Show Store – DTW North Terminal:
The Today Show storefront has a clean, crisp contemporary look. The Architectural ceiling element is a dynamic interpretation of The Today Show logo and cascades from the ceiling down the wall.
With a crisp white environment, and an orange accent wall that pops the ceiling feature and highlights the product within and below, the HVAC required a different approach to the air distribution design in order to compliment the ceiling elements, without encroaching with the aesthetic of the architectural design.
The challenge was to find a product and be able to:
- Rethink what air management system can be.
- Revise the notion of functionality.
- Redefine the comfort zone™.
It was imperative to raise the bar on air distribution design, proving that functional can also be beautiful and energy efficient, with a product that optimizes the use of natural resources.
